SportTechie: PIQ, Everlast Partner To Launch Artificial Intelligence Wearable Device For Boxing

Everlast and PIQ Sport Intelligence, a French wearables startup, are presenting boxing a brand new product that will bring the sport into a new era.

The two companies are collaborating to launch an app and the first Artificial Intelligence wearable device designed to help boxers analyze their movements in real-time.

The app features the PIQ ROBOT device that allows boxers to access the genuine Artificial Intelligence interface, a system that autonomously understands and analyzes the movements. This PIQ technology was developed further in this partnership with Everlast after studying the motions of thousands of boxers.

“We’re extremely proud to have earned the trust of Everlast, a major player on the global sporting goods market,” PIQ CEO Cedric Mangaud said in a statement. “Thanks to this partnership, all of the intelligence technology we have built will become available to boxers.
